Last night on the US Server was fantastic with about 6 players. It included Draco (congratulations on joining UrS), Rasterbator, Ziggy, Zozox, $t0rM and Pink_Meate. Sorry if I missed anyone. Later some of them had to leave and Harry_Lime came in to join the fracas. One game in particular was very close - the beta Square map with $t0rM and Ziggy against Harry and me. I was doing really crappy but we just eeked out a win with Harry making up for my less-than-stellar gameplay against the fantastic teamwork of $t0rM and Zig. We proceeded to play Romra, Cola perhaps a few other maps.

Then it happened. Someone had to step away and that left just Harry vs me on Lego. Harry proceeded to fly circles around me. I couldn't shoot him down with rockets or sniping. He shut me out 6-0. That was my last game of the night and I went to bed with my tail between my legs and a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

But after thinking about it, I am very awed by Harry's gameplay. So I'll say now - well done Harry! If I can improve to half your level of performance, I'll have achieved much.

Oh, and it's ridiculous to try sniping in Lego Maniac. You could be Lee Harvey Oswald and still get nothing done, particularly in a 1v1 match. Ensure constant possession of the opposing side's flag, and all subsequent blowing up of shit is pretty much a given.

FIRST I MUST SAY SOMETHING TO thesalesman - have you not heard of accidents or mistakes. Why do you have to be so rude? Really I don't get it. Okay this post was suppose to be in the UT2K4 section, but here you are acting in such a matter because Tako posted in your little UT99 section.

TAKO - Yesterday was a fun night. We had many great games. Despite what thesalesman replied, Lego is one of those maps that you have to get a groove in. You can't jump off your rocket much, due to the fact that the rockets get taken up right away, and the short distance from one flag to the other. Harry never got off his rocket. When you first died however, when harry killed you, you did not have much luck finding any rockets so I saw you had to do what you had to, which was start sniping. Don't let it upset you when you lose, you beat us all plenty of times, but we always come back for more. Tako - you know your true worth in the game. All and all, we all have excellent rocket skills.

I enjoy playing with most of you. When it comes to the jerks and cheaters, well I have a rocket with your name on it .
